Experiment With Tenaga Dalam IV (马来神功 IV)

Forward

After the initial TD exercises, a practitioner should perform additional breathing exercises to enhance the power of his/her TD. Although TD is mainly powered by spirits, chi () power is also an important element that should not be taken lightly. For there are time when auto-movements are too risky to be performed and going into trance would not be ideal at that time.

TD breathing techniques

This exercise is ideally to be done for 2 hours a day normally between 5pm-7pm; but one may adjust this timing and durations. The steps are as below:

·         Prayer
·         Warming up exercises
·         Static breathing exercises
·         Dynamic breathing exercises
·         Energy boosting exercises
·         Handling of energy
·         Meditation
·         Closing exercises

Prayer

For Muslim:

·         A Muslim practitioner should recite Bismillah (3x), Syahadah (1x), Istighfar (1x), Al-Fatihah (1x), Al-Ikhlas (1x), An Naas (1x), Al-Falaq (1x), Ayat Kursi (1x)

For Non-Muslim

·         A non-Muslim should recite prayers suitable to his/her religious background.

Warming up exercises

After the prayer session, one should perform some exercises such as turning of one’s head, swinging one’s arms or jumping around; or any other exercises that one prefers.

Static breathing exercises

There are two types of static breathing exercises:

·         Triangle breathing
·         Square breathing

Triangle breathing

One should be seated on a chair or crossed-legs on the floor to perform this exercise. The timing is simple: breath in, hold breathe and release.

This exercise is to be done for 10 to 15 times.

Square breathing

The square breathing postures

One should be kneeling as shown with both hands at the back. Now, the person should take a deep breath and then hold the breath at his/her ‘dantian’ (navel) for as long as he/she can. Then he should incline his/her body forward to empty the air. After the person has emptied the air, he/she should remain in this condition and recite “rabbunalah” or any holy name 7x. This exercise should be repeated for 10 times.

After the static breathing exercises, the person should rest for a few minutes before moving to dynamic breathing exercises.

Energy handling exercises

Some energy handling exercises. The left example is for opening and closing portal; while the right posture with prayer's position is for setting up boundary.

Meditation

Meditation can be of any school that one follows.

Closing exercises

After meditation, one should just have a slow walk inside or outside of the house but never sit down. This is to disperse and release residue energies that may be harmful.
