Fox Spirit And Heavenly Master Temple 1 (天师狐仙庙1)

Fox spirits 狐仙 are worshiped in Heavenly Master Family Temple (天师家庙) in the Dragon and Tiger Mountain (龙虎山) in Jiangxi (江西). Fox spirits is almost synonym with Lilith in Western occult world. Both fox spirits and Lilith have the power to charm. Of course, a fox spirit is no comparison to powerful Lilith.

The story begins something like this:

During Northern Song Dynasty, the  30th Heavenly Master just completed his meditation and suddenly he heard loud thunder roaring followed by lightning strokes across the sky. The sky immediately covered by thick black cloud. Looks like it is going to rain.

The master walked out of his meditation room and he raised his head and look at the sky. He felt that something was abnormal that day. So he made a hand calculation and concluded that there must be some demonic entities at work.

Just as he was in a deep thought, a young beautiful girl in yellow shirt suddenly knelled down in front of the master while panting. She took a bow and said in tears: "Heavenly master, please help me."

"Who are you? Speak with honesty!" The master said with grim face.

The pretty yellow shirt lady said with trembling: "I am a fox spirit who has practised for 2000 years nearing attain accomplishment. This is the reason that the Heavenly Court ordered the thunder god couples to kill me. Please be compassionate and save my life." She kowtowed while spoke out the master.

"All demons must be killed. If I save you I would be leaving troubles to the temple." The master scolded.

"Heavenly Master, I am not afraid to die. I am pregnant and will give birth soon. If the Heavenly Court chopped my head; my innocent baby will be killed too..." The fox spirit continued to weep and cry.

At this juncture, the master started to feel pity and thought: "Although fox spirits are disgusting, the fox baby should not be involved. If the fox spirit can repent and be good, it will also be a good deed too."

So, the master said to the fox spirit: "If and only if you promise me 3 things."

"What 3 things may I asked?" She asked.

"First, eat only vegetables and refrain from killing. Secondly, stay secluded from human beings. Thirdly, engage in dharma practices for the benefit of people." The master said.

The fox spirit immediately took her vow and promised that if she has breached any of the items, she shall be killed.

The master saw that the fox spirit has repentant heart, so immediately ordered she to accept precepts. After that he went to the Grand Master's Hall to pray to the Heavenly Court.

When the Jade Emperor heard the Heavenly Master's prayer, He ordered the thunder gods not to look for the fox spirit further.

Soon, the sky became clear again.

The fox spirit thanked the Heavenly Master and secluded herself in the Yuntai Mountain (云台山). It consume only wild fruits and continued her dharma practices as promised. Soon, the fox spirit gave birth to a fair and chubby baby girl named 'little white fairy' (小白仙).

God In The Great Perfection (大圆满里的神)

Although Tibtean Buddhism does not explicitly mention the one and only Almighty God. There is a similar concept hidden inside the teaching of Great Perfection as primordial Buddha and consort: The Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri (普贤王父母). Both of them are the personalization of the state of emptiness.

The mantra for both is:

Om samantabhadra om, samantabhadri siddhi ah ah ah~

The meaning:

Returning to the primordial state of vastness and stay in this state forever.

The Samantabhadra and consort is the highest order of refuge in Ningmapa tradition while to other schools, the highest order of refuge is the Vajradhara. The believe of Samantabhadra is refuted by the Gelupa Sect.

In the actual Great Perfection (Dzongchen) practice, all visualization of deities and mantra recitations are halted and the practitioner's body, speech and mind are trained through a set of physical and mental exercises so as to drop his/her habitual clinging onto forms.

He/she should also be well versed in the teaching of Madhyamaka (大中观论) and perform meditation according to the secret instructions of previous masters. The core of Madhyamaka teach us not to grasp on side; in short "it is not in the center or sitting on the fence".

The meditation of Great Perfection is pretty simple too: concentrate your mind through your eyes into the space in front of you. Hold this state for as long as you can.

The Great Perfection in short conforms to the 3 states: Original state - peaceful state - volatile state. This also conforms to the God's 3 states: Creation - Happy - Destruction.

The final resting of the place of a Great Perfection practitioner is in the state of 'ah' or in the center of the dharmadatu (法界心中心); of we can decipher it to 'resting in the heart of God' forever.

On the event of Judgement Day, all practitioners are awakened by the syllable 'hum'.

So, there is no conflict in Dzongchen teaching with the belief of God. This is the 'Dummy's Guide for Great Perfection' in just a few words. Dzongchen is not so far reached after all.

Ah Pek's Psychic Vision (阿伯的阴阳眼)

The medium Ah Pek suffered some momentary power lost but one day he visited me and said that after he has lost his mediumship capability, he suddenly found that he started to see 'ghosts'...

One night, he was reciting mantras so as to let his patron god, the Dragon Prince to possess his body; Ah Pek suddenly saw his late father came to him. In a state of shock he exclaimed: "Pa! What are you doing here?"

His old man said: "Son, what do you think? The Dragon Prince cannot come so dad came instead..."

"Who is the Dragon Prince then?" Ah Pek started to speak to thin air as he wondered about searching for traces of his late father.

Ah Pek's late father, apparently some kind of spirits by now said: "Dragon prince is your grandpa... And all the deities here are our good friends..."

On hearing his father's words, Ah Pek turned his vision to the deity statues on his altars and saw a lot of black and white figures.

"Yeek!!" Ah Pek jumped up and then lost balance and fell onto the ground.

Hi wife who is also Ah Pek's assistant, quickly stroke a bronze gong three times signifying sending Dragon Prince off and end of service. She quickly propped Ah Pek up and those visitors waiting to be served gathered around him.

People thought Ah Pek was sick and they wanted to send him to hospital but Ah Pek just shook his head. How could he told everyone what he has just seen.

The crowd was dismissed with the excuse that Ah Pek is sick.

A few days later, Ah Pek saw the spirit of his father, grandpa and a lot of unknown spirits in black and white gown waved at him. They yelled: "Let us in, Ah Pek! A 'winged god' refused to let us in..."

Ah Pek again fainted.

He immediately contacted me and blurred what he saw... and he asked: "What winged god did they meant?"

I shrugged and replied: "An angel perhaps... or it could be the thunder god, Thor... But look at the bright side: now you can see ghosts! Ha! Ha! Ha!"

"Can you send him away?" Ah Pek asked eagerly.

"Pray to God that it will go away... Ha! Ha! Ha!" I laughed until I couldn't stand upright.

By the way, I am interviewing Ah Pek for more stories. :D

In God We Trust ? (我们唯主不信?)

To many, the God has only one and the only one. He is the one who cannot be challenged and cannot be compromised.

To some, the word 'god' is a polysemy. This is especially true among majority Chinese. It is still a practice in Dejiaohui (德教会) to lump all 5 major religions together: Taoism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam and Confucianism. To Dejiaohui, 'god' can refer to:

  • Jade Emperor (玉皇大帝)
  • The Almighty God (as in Islam and Christianity)
  • Jesus (耶稣)
  • 3 Puristies (三清)
  • Guangong (关公)
  • god (上帝)
I am not the expert but let us go through one by one:

In Christianity:

The God in Old Testament and New Testament is quite different. In Old Testament, the God is very strict and He punishes if his will is compromised.

However, in New Testament the role of God was Jesus (Colossians 2:9) and etc.The God in New Testament is more compromising.

The differences between Old and New Testament is the main reason I failed to embrace Christianity.

In Islam:

The God in Holy Quran and Old Testament is the same. However, Muslim cannot accept that Jesus same level as God. To Muslim, Jesus is one of the prophets but he can never be the God. So, the New Testament is rejected by Islam. This is the major dispute between Christianity and Islam.

In Buddhism:

There is no God.

In Taoism:

The Jade Emperor, the Guangong, god and 3 Purities are just gods in Taoism.

In conjurations especially in Middle Eastern conjurations, the God refers to the God in Old Testament and in Holy Quran. So 'in the name of God' refers to the one and only Almighty God.

If the conjuror equates the Almighty God with the god in Taoism, then he can find himself attacked or possessed by the entities he is summoning. So, be careful when making references.

Love Is Not Lust (爱情不是性欲)

Many people came to me wanting to learn Phra Ngan and also to get hold a bottle of corpse oil. No joking until so much so that even Buddhist monk wanted a piece of them!

First, for those inspired folks, please print this in your mind that 'love' is not 'lust'. A lustful person will not be successful in making love magic work for some reasons that I have tested time and again with very minimal or no results at all.

I have always advise lustful folks to just spend MYR100 or so for a immediate pleasure with a prostitute and forget about her; and look for another new prostitute for his new businesses rather than spending MYR1000 on a bottle of corpse oil; or MYR2000 for a super rare Phra Ngan statue. Using magical means to attract a decent life partner will NEVER work.

A friend of mine, call him Bob spent about MYR300,000 or so in his attempt to get his so called soul mate. Sadly until today, his soul mate kept changing from one social escort to another social escort.

I have told him not to seek his true love through intranet chatting and through massage parlors but Bob kept ignoring my advice. Bob thought he could bind a woman's heart with money so he kept sending his money to a girl in Shanghai, China that he only met a few times. This is his first secret mistress. He some how has a very funny logic: Only a rich man can keep a mistress. On the other hand, he only gave me $20 for my consultation *SIGH*!

Then Bob also spent a lot of money on another girl in Sichuan, China as this lady apparently wanted to renovate her house for her parents... Despite I did a quick accounting for Bob on his expenditures on the ladies, he has not regretted and insisted in finding his soul mate through his unique money burning means.

Bob's problem is that he got to know a woman through sexual relationships. By now you would agree with me that no decent ladies would go to bed with anyone with a fee... For only a prostitute will do this. Logically speaking, what Bob has is only 'perceived relationship' and not his true soul mate.

When Bob learnt about my girlfriend, he vowed to find one whom is more superior. Last time I heard was that Bob has involved himself in some quick money making scheme with his new found Chinese lady in an desperate attempt to get rich.

While I hope all the best to Bob, my take to all is that please find a more decent way to find your soul mates. Love magic helps but sincerity and honesty are still best... Lust only lasts for a short time. Of course, I don't mean to preach; the choice is still in your hands!

Gift Of Lilith: Soul Mate (莉莉丝的礼物:伴侣)

So far I just touched about spirit to spirit matter and could spirit grant us anything physical and worthwhile?

Perhaps so. The story I am about to tell you is real. It is so real that you will not believe that this is true...

As you know that I have bound Lilith with an oath but it seldom appear and only once physically and also rarely in the dreams. Perhaps this time Lilith decided to give me a big surprise:

One day, I accidentally bumped into my ex-manager, Ong in Queen's Bay Mall in Penang. Frankly speaking, I never like to chat with those folks in managerial positions. So after some casual greeting exchanges, I was just attempting to wriggle my way away from Ong's grasp; he grabbed my arm and said that we should have a chat to catch up in Starbucks.

So, reluctantly I was half dragged and half glided into the franchise and Ong was so generous in treating a mug of expensive coffee. Then my dreaded chat begun...

Ong: "What are you up to lately?"

Me: "Oh nothing too excited about: eat and sleep. Ha ha ha..."

Ong: "You should be more diligent as me. I am now a senior operations manager with this newly setup electronics manufacturing firm..."

Then Ong started to blast out his lecture while I just quietly sipping the free Starbucks cappuccino while praying for the time to pass.

Then a pretty short haired lady approached us. Ong raised his head and suddenly became speechless. I thought Ong was attracted by the lady as she indeed has a pair of soul catching eyes.

The lady then fixed her gaze at me and asked: "Shall we continue talk later?"

Well, who can decline a pretty lady. After all, she looked beautiful and solemn. So I answer: "Yes dear, let us continue..."

The lady gave me a smile and turned her back to walk away. I was a little bewildered but enjoyed to look into her beautiful eyes. Since she didn't bother to look at Ong and Ong just stood transfixed beside his chair; I felt a little curious.

"Hey, Ong! Do you know this lady?" I tried to snap him out of his seemingly hypnotic state.

When Ong recovered from whatever state he was in, he exclaimed: "Are you kidding!? She is the owner of a overseas public listed company!"

"What is your relationship with her? You seemed to be very closed together?" Ong continued to ask.

"Oh, she is just my girlfriend." I said half jokingly.

"......" Ong was speechless and he made an excuse to leave.

As Ong walked away, I turned my head and yelled at him: "Hope to see you in your up coming interview! Ha! Ha! Ha!"

What I said is true but due to the sensitivity of the information, I can only stop here.

To sum up, if the spirit we conjure is true with our uncompromising integrity and strong faith; and that we will not settle for anything of substandard, pleasant surprises will come to us. However, if we yield to lusts; then be prepared to meet our doom. Please treat conjuration seriously or don't do it at all.

Learning Santau 4: Evil Bomoh (山道 4:邪巫)

After the seemingly innocent hantu raya was somewhat put under control. I rested for the night as I was very tired.

Just as I was flipping and flopping in my bed thinking what to do with the hantu raya since it was apparently sent by the evil bomoh for taking control of me; I heard a female voice: "Leave it to me..."

I somehow dozed off and had a very strange dream. In that dream I dreamed of entering the bomoh's house and saw he was having sex with a very pretty lady. I entered the house but the bomoh didn't notice my presence as he was too engaged with the lady.

Then a voice guided me to open a wooden chest. I opened the chest cover and saw a cat hiding in the chest. Then the voice instructed me to kill the cat and I did. The blood spilled all over the floor. At the same time, the bomoh shouted in agony.

I was somehow awakened by the bomoh's agonizing painful shriek and it was already 9 a.m. So I hurriedly cleaned myself and went down the hotel to have my breakfast.

My handy rang and it was the bomoh again. This time he spoke in a commanding tone: "Come to me with the hantu (ghost) at once at the place we met last night!"

Since I was about to check out from the hotel and return to Ipoh, I took a detour to see what the bomoh was up to.

When the bomoh saw me, he commanded me: "Come! Give me whatever money you have with you!"

I thought I would play along with the bomoh, so I handed to him MYR36 and said: "Grandpa, this is what I have now..."

He took the money and gave me a grim stare then said: "You are under my child's (hantu raya) control and I have put some santau inside your coffee last night. You must obey me... Go to a ATM to draw MYR1000 for me now..."

Now I realized that the old man thought I was being possessed and control by his hantu raya spirit. No wonder why the hantu raya acted very strangely last night. Had it not because of my ring, I would already be a goner!

At this point, I have no intention of entanglement with him, so I cleared my throat and raised my voice: "Hey grandpa, did you enjoy your sex with a beautiful lady last night?"

Sensing something was wrong, the bomoh jumped up from his comfortable chair and his facial expression changed to shock: "How did you know that I was having wet dream? Are you trying to be funny? I will let you have a taste of my santau!"

The old man immediately started to chant but nothing happened... It was my turn to laugh: "Ha! Ha! Ha! I thought you can do better grandpa! You really disappointed me!!"

Realizing that his charms did not work on me, the old bomoh started to plead: "Let me go young man? I am old and will die soon..."

"As you wished~"

A disembodied yet familiar female voice came from middle of the air, and the old man quickly stood up and ran out.

Frankly, I was as astonished as the evil bomoh. All this while I have never experienced with this type of vivid dream that coincided with actual life event. Perhaps my soul did travel out of body last night to save my body?

A few weeks later, when I visited Teluk Intan again; I saw the old bomoh sat in the corner of local wet market. This time his face was full of sores. Perhaps this was the work of his servitor spirits who sought revenge against its master.

I have no further information about this evil bomoh after the last encounter but I am sure he has had his punishment this life; perhaps waiting for the punishment during the end of the world.

Up until now, I could have sworn that it was Lilith that has saved me but it remained silent ever since.

That was my experience with evil bomoh. Of course, ever since Mona Fendy's case in 1993, local bomohs started to be suppressed by the government and religious bodies. If anyone admits to be a bomoh today, he would receive a cold shoulder. As a matter of fact, it is safer to stay away from any bomohs. Please take my words for it and you will not be sorry.
