Purposes Of Succubus (魅魔的目的)

Everyone knows succubus likes to sexually assault men during their sleep. Ordinary people and righteous religious folks would not dare to even speak of its name more so to call upon them. So what are the values of having a succubus around; or the male counterpart incubus around?

First of all, succubus/incubus should not be tempted by ordinary folks as this is the 'business for professionals' as both spirits are difficult to control and unpredictable. The main reason a conjuror would conjure succubus/incubus are many:

1. Better understanding of ladies/men

By having a succubus around, a man will have a better understanding of a lady's mind and hence take a more cunning approach in daily business dealings. Succubus also helps to prevent its master from being cheated by his lady partner. If damage is already done, succubus will act to prevent losses to minimum.

This is vice versa on man to man private or business matters. Although incubus can also be used but most conjurors prefer succubus due to its attention to details.

2. Two fold actions

Unlike ordinary servitor spirits, a succubus will normally perform two or multiple actions and it will see to it that things are completed to the end. For example in the protection of its master, it will continue to act on the master's enemies even long after the case is over. In short, until the enemies suffered some kind of loses or blood shed.

3. Attraction

A succubus can increase its master's attraction so that he shall be able to deal with opposite sex and increase his confident. Useful and helpful people will automatically come when the person is in need of help.

4. Decent living

In most cases, a good succubus will see to it that its master has an easy going life although it may or may not make its master rich. One thing for sure is that he will not be worried about a boss bugging him everyday and still have a shelter and something to eat.

5. Avoidance of dangers

The master of succubus will experience miraculous escape from dangerous situations hence preventing catastrophic loses.

6. Soul mates

A succubus will bring its master his soul mates given time. They will appear automatically in front of the person when the time comes.

7. Enhancing 6th senses

Same as with other spirits, a succubus will also help its master to develop certain degree of psychic power.

Of course, not all succubus are created the same. Some are more aggressive than the others while some will have a more seductive power. The best succubus is from Middle East for some unknown reasons. Also, conjuring a succubus in a city is a no go because only lustful spirits will be attracted.

If you noticed that I have not mentioned 'sexual pleasure'... Well, a succubus conjured through proper means will not attack its master unless the master has compromised his integrity. This situation will be dangerous to the master. Hence only those ones with strong faith can deal with a succubus.

A point to note is that a succubus is normally not transferable. It is impossible to ask a succubus to help another person. I have tried to lend my succubus to a friend but it refused to help for some reasons I don't know.

Lastly, I am not selling or promoting succubus.

Conjuration Of Succubus (召唤魅魔)

There are already enough talks about Lilith in the net and there is a grimoire titled 'Liber Lilith' mentioning how Lilith should be conjured. I am not about to repeat the same story but to recall a story Ishab has told me. And the conjuration experience of succubus believed to be related to Lilith in Snai Peninsula.

Master Ishab believed that Lilith has eventually settled on the highlands of Sinai Peninsula with some of her descendant. The highlands facing the Red Sea is the home of these succubus.

Ishab's said he obtained the information from his late master and he wanted to make a trip to that part of Sinai Peninsula to make contact with at least one of those entities if possible.

When the timing was right, we traveled from Cairo towards Sinai and headed south to locate an ideal location. The reason Ishab wanted my participation was that I was in possession of Lilith's ring. He wanted to use it as a bait to entice those succubus. This ring also served as a touchstone to test if the spirit summoned is authentic.

After travelling for a week or so along the peninsula highlands, we found a promising spot facing the Red Sea. Luckily also for us that it was approaching black moon.

We decided to camp there for two days and made preparations for conjuration rituals. The main ingredients are some frankincense resins and fire woods to start a bonfire.

The conjuration started when the sun begun to set. As the environment gets dark, we started a bonfire and occasionally threw in a few pieces of incense resins sufficient just to produce some fragrant smoke.

Then one of us would started to call for succubus while the other must make sure that the fire doesn't die down or the ritual might fail.

The conjuration continued until fairly late into night and the wind was strong blowing toward the sea. Our experience is that no spirit will materialize when the wind is strong.

We continued to sit by the fire and suddenly the wind subsided. Not long after that, I heard something was whooping from far to near. When I turned my head towards Ishab, he nodded and hinted me to be quiet.

Soon, a flash of blue light was seen hovering around us. At times it tried to approached one of us, and then retreated as if probing with curiosity.

Ishab commanded the blue light to halt and obey the ring of Lilith repetitively until it finally form the faint shape of a young Arabian lady in blue.

After the entity has taken shape, Ishab immediately threw a ring into the fire and commanded it to take her vow of loyalty. This is very important for if the entity rebellious against the conjuror, it will be tormented by the fire of hell.

The entity bowed towards the fire and vanished. At this point, it was approaching dawn and the ray of rising sun could be seen at the horizon. We were very tired but happy because our effort has not wasted.

With one succubus bound to a ring, Ishab was eager to return to Cairo so that he could perform more communication sessions with his new found spirit.

A few years later, Ishab conjured up another succubus using the ring of the first one. I didn't participate in his second excursion because I was sailing towards Japan from Saudi Arabia.

What I knew was that Ishab regarded both newly acquired succubus very highly.. And further story will be told later as it will be another long story.

Classes Of Spirits According To Conjuror (役灵者眼中的精灵)

A conjuror views spirits very differently compared to ordinary folks and religious groups. The reason is that while other folks treat spirits passively, conjurors must manage their spirits to perform work. They must know what type of spirits are best for what type of work; and which spirits are best to be kept alone.

God

The God's name cannot be challenged. It is an absolute unchallenged name of power. The name of God is used to command spirits during exorcism, summoning, deployment etc. But a conjuror cannot kill another spirit under God's name. Only the God can decide what to do with the spirit.

Supervisory spirits

A Middle Eastern conjuror will have one or two supervisory spirits to oversee his conjurations or magic rituals. These supervisory spirits are normally bound into a conjuror's magic ring. Perhaps you have noticed in movies such as Arabian nights movies that evil magicians wear many big and small rings. In reality, most of these rings are bound with more powerful spirits. These spirits are normally passive and overlook the safety of the magician. They do not act unless necessary.

A supervisory spirit should be a spirit of higher hierarchy and the most powerful that a conjuror can find. Though angels are much preferred, they are normally a little far reached for ordinary conjurors and magicians.

I have a ring bound with Lilith which has saved me from the attack of evil bomoh's servitor spirit. So, any spirits such as ifrit or marid jinn are possible. There is no set of rules.

In Thai magic, the supervisory spirits are normally lineage gurus of each tradition. So, the 'wai-kru' or teachers' ritual is of utmost important. This is the same as in tantric rituals.

Servitor spirits

This type of spirits are the spirits a conjuror usually deployed and they stay very closed to the conjuror. Basically, ghosts, animal spirits, lower classes of jinn etc. belonged to servitor spirits.

Basically a servitor spirit is a working class spirit and the already mentioned 'hantu raya' is a classic example of a servitor spirit in Malay and Thai magic.

Another example is the Taoist's 5-ghosts (五鬼) or any of his/her ghost servents (养鬼).

In most cases, servitor spirits are more important than the supervisory spirits and they are more close to the conjuror.

Expendable spirits

These group of spirits are a lump of spirits of every kinds. These spirits normally summoned in a group to do a general task. These spirits are good at attracting customers, disturbing people and general magic work. They are expendable compared to servitor spirits.

The Taoist's 5-legionnaire armies (五营兵) are just a bunch of wandering spirits assembled to serve the Taoist. These expendable spirits must constantly be replenished as some of them wasted away over time.

Loaned spirits

When a conjuror is in a foreign place and in a desperate need for spiritual help. He/she can summon some local spirits to serve him/her. These spirits on loan are normally some earthbound spirits.

Though forms

The concept of thought forms is nothing new. The so-called 'khodam' in Middle Eastern magic is actually though forms. Thought forms are also very popular in Western Magic and Taoist magic.

Thought forms are normally created for specific jobs. They have limited intelligence. Most thought forms are created by magicians and bound them into rings and sold as magic rings. It is very difficult to differentiate if a ring is bound with intelligence or a thought form.

If a ring is bound with a real spirit, then there is no need to fumigate or recite mantra. However, if a ring is embedded with a thought form; it will need constant fumigation and mantra recitations. In fact, most of the rings sold openly are bound with thought forms.

Learning Santau 3: Hantu Raya (山道3:鬼仆)

Soon it has passed 40 days waiting. We were supposed to meet the old bomoh in Teluk Intan. Since Ah Keat has sought his revenge on his ex, and that he wasn't too interested in practising the art of 'hantu raya' (big/wandering ghost); I went to see the bomoh instead.
My purpose was also to get the santau material buried under the ground for 40 days.

Since I went alone, and for safety reasons; I decided to ask the bomoh to come out to meet me in a more civilized location in Teluk Intan. After some negotiation, the bomoh finally agreed to come out with a price of MYR1000. I agreed to his request as I wanted to see what this old man was up to.

So we met in a coffee shop just outskirt of the town at night as requested by the bomoh.

I was late for the appointment as I wasn't very familiar with the place and the bomoh was already there. When he saw me, he extended his right hand to me and at first I thought he wanted to shake hand... Instead he said: "MYR1000 for one hantu raya servant!"

A little stunned by his action initially, but I regained my calmness and said: "Tok (Grandpa), can you first show me my hantu raya please?"

The old man gave me a scornful and arrogant stare then he said: "Sit down grandchild, and I will show you..."

He took out a dark bottle and placed it in front of him and then a ping-pong ball was then put in front of me. Then he commanded: "My child, come to papa!"

Strange as it was, the ping-pong ball slowly moved toward the old bomoh. And to make me more confident, he then ordered the ball to move towards me; and it did.

Though a little disbelieved, I had to admit that something made the ball roll as commanded. Still unsatisfied, I asked the old man: "I thought I should summon it myself? And where is my santau material?"

The bomoh gave me a cunning stare that I know he was up to no good. After silent for a moment he said: "That would be another MYR360!"

I paid a total of MYR1360 to the old man and he taught me some methods of taking care of the hantu raya; and reminded me to give it a name.

It was already late when I bade farewell to the bomoh and since it was too late to drive home, I stayed in a budget hotel nearby.

After taking a shower, I took out the bottle and slowly inspect it. My instinct told me that someone was watching me and I raised my head and saw a tall hairy figure stood in front of me... It started to repeat: "Narong (small boy)... Narong... Narong..."

The mysterious figure was full of hostility and it slowly approached me. The atmospheric pressure within the room gradually increased and I felt difficult to breathe...

In a state of panic, I took out the oath bound ring of Lilith and pointed the ring towards the hairy creature. It started to retreat and then transformed into a blob of black smoke before vanished into thin air.

Soon, the room condition returned to normal.

Perhaps the creature was a hantu raya sent by the old man for some purposes and we shall see later. One thing for sure is that Middle Eastern spiritual entities are certainly much superior than the Asian ones...

Learning Santau 2: Revenge (山道2:报复)

Ah Keat's ex-grilfriend jilted him for a manager in the factory. The couple was to marry soon and that caused Ah Keat to be heart broken. Love transformed into hatred and he vowed revenge. So, an old Bomoh gave him a bottle of santau poison and taught him the arts of santau making...

While waiting to see the old shaman again, Ah Keat decided to let his ex-girl a taste of this deadly poison. One night he dated his ex by the name Lily (not real name) to have dinner and congratulated her for the forthcoming wedding.

Later, I was told by Ah Keat that he has put some of santau material in Lily's food when she visited washroom. And we will just have to wait and see if anything happened to Lily. The old man said that santau normally takes effect within 7 days after entered a victim's body.

Although I didn't like what Ah Keat did, on the other hand; I  also dislike Lily as she was the company secretary and by the fact that Lily was quite arrogant towards blue collar workers; so she deserved a lesson too I thought. Besides, I can't stop Ah Keat for he will find any means to get his revenge. Needless to say that I was eager to know the effect of santau.

Since Lily was the secretary and her place was just outside of the manager's office, I purposely took a detour to the administrative office just to look at Lily's 'progress'.

Nothing happened for the first 2 days or so. On the 3rd day, Lily's face looked a little swollen with darker than normal eye sockets. She also coughed quite often too. I didn't see Lily on the 4th day and beyond so I purposely asked the financial controller about Lily. She said Lily was on medical leaves.

Later I heard from Ah Keat who had visited Lily that Lily started to cough blood starting from 3rd day. Then she started to act crazy and she even killed her neighbor's chickens by severing their head and drank the blood.

News of Lily became crazy spread like wild fire in the community. Many people thought Lily was suffering from black magic and her parents were faithful Christians so they sent Lily to the church for exorcism.

The condition of Lily flip-flops for about 3 years and finally recovered after countless of prayers and blessing ceremonies. Though Lily kept her life, she was not really herself anymore. One thing for sure, Lily looked like a plump middle aged lady even though she was in her late 20's. Her manager fiance has also left her as he thought Lily has become insane.

Once I asked if Ah Keat would repeat his action, he said probably not because santau once released, there is no known effective cure. Even after the victim is cured, he/she will either lost his/her golden opportunities in life.

Before I left the company, I heard Lily was engaging in clerical services. And she remained single until today. That was what I heard from Ah Keat when I bumped into him in Ipoh recently.

Learning Santau 1 (学习山道1)

Santau is a type of poisoning method that makes use of spirits to transmit. The notorious 'hantu raya' (giant wild spirit) is most commonly associated with santau. The Indochinese 'gu' (蛊) is closely related with santau.

In earlier years, santau is the most feared Malay black magic in Malay Archipelago as anyone who become the victim of santau will surely meet their doom. Santau is so lethal that even some santau masters suffered from the very poison they made.

So said, stantu masters have no worry about lacking customers for some unknown reasons. Luckily, the forbidden art of santau is no longer in proliferation and only a handful of bomohs (shaman) have mastered this deadly art. At least, I have not heard any recent cases of santau poisoning being reported...

For a pretty long period of time, when I was working in Ipoh; I was hooked to mysterious Malay magic. Another friend of mine too whose hometown is in Teluk Intan, a small town in downstream of Perak River also very much into the practices of Malay Magic.

Ah Keat was my colleague and he was already quite advanced in his Malay Magic study when I knew him. He used to meditate for days in the middle of the jungle and said to have a magic pearl given to him by a giant serpent.

One day, Ah Keat pulled me aside after work and asked if I would be interested in learning the mysterious santau. I was a little surprised on his abrupt attitude change because I thought I have begged him for many times to bring me to his master but only received a cold shoulder.

Apparently this time is different because Ah Keat need to travel to an isolated Kampong to visit a infamous santau master but he lacked funding. The master requested MYR2000 for teaching santau. Hmm... MYR2000 was quite a big sum during that time, so Ah Keat wanted someone to split the bill.

I agreed but was curious why he was so interested in Santau. So I threatened Ah Keat that if he didn't tell me the reason behind his intention, then I will not take part in his seemingly deadly expedition.

Finally Ah Keat gave way under pressure and it transpired that Ah Keat's girlfriend has jilted him for our company manager. And the couple was scheduled to marry soon. Ah Keat wanted to 'teach them a lesson' that they will not forget. Though I didn't condole with his intention, I was interested to learn this forbidden art.

We traveled to Teluk Intan first to Ah Keat's place and then proceeded toward the kampong where the black magician lived.

After travelling for one hour or so through muddy path and until the trail became too narrow for my car, we continued to walk for another half an hour or so and arrived in front of a small attap hut.

An old Malay grandpa came out from the hut and hinted us to come in quickly. So we hurriedly in and as soon as we sat on the floor, the old man reached out his hand to demand for payment. And Ah Keat gave him the money.

The grandpa passed a bottle filled with black liquid to Ah Keat and asked him to add some to his ex-girlfriend's food with some mantra.

After the initial transaction, the grandpa asked us to write down his instructions of making santau and asked us to return to him a week later with all the ingredients he wanted. Grandpa said that the best time to make santau is on a Thursday night, preferably during full moon.

Happily we returned to Ipoh and after gathered materials such as florescence tube, caterpillars, bamboo fur, betel nuts and etc. And soon it was time to visit the old man again.

We were in luck as it was full moon that Thursday night, so said the grandpa. We again entered the old attap hut and all windows and huts were quickly fastened. The old man said that he didn't want Kampong folks to know what we were doing.

We sat around some offering ingredients like burning benzoin resins, betel nuts and leaves, tobaccos, roast chicken and yellow sticky rice. The ingredients are very similar to those normally used in Thai magic come and think of it.

I was instructed to break those ingredients into pieces and then pounded them into powder the old man started to fall into trance and called upon his hantu raya assistant: "Oh, my child, the formidable hantu raya, come and empower this ingredients into deadly santau for my grandsons..."

The chanting lasted for about 20 minutes and then the santau is said to be readied. It is then poured into a bottle and sealed. We were again instructed to bury all the offering materials into ground. The santau must stay underground for 40 days so Ah Keat and I must again return home.

This time the old bomoh said that he will teach us how to obtain a hantu raya spirit servant but with extra fees. Of course, that is another long story to tell...

Tangki And Angel (乩童与天使)

I am pretty sure no one has done this type of experiment that I am going to tell you. This is something pretty new and only crazy people will do it...

Whenever I am free, I will visit those small Taoist shrines just to watch 'tangki' (Taoist spirit mediums) in action. I have nothing against mediums but I surely will not try to be one.

My friend, Ah Pek is a tangki for the 'third prince of dragon king' (龙王三太子) and his shrine is located near my old house in Taiping. If I am not too busy or when Ah Pek is not preparing for any functions; I will just drop by to chat and have a cup of tea in his shrine.

Ah Pek's shrine has at least 40-50 idols with various facial expressions. In addition, Ah Pek is also particularly proud of his 5-legionnaire armies (五营兵) too.

One night, as usual I visited Ah Pek's shrine and he was busy serving his visitors. On one busy night, there can be up to 30 people or so seeking Ah Pek's help. His services are all encompassing: from Feng Shui to exorcism to lucky number prediction.

It was around 11pm when the last visitor left. I helped Ah Pek to clean up his place and after that we sat on stools to take a rest and enjoying a cup of hot tea.

"Who is more powerful? Taoist deities or the 'Ang Moh' (foreigner) angels?" Ah Pek suddenly asked out of the blue.

I scratched my head and reluctantly said: "God knows? No one has tried such comparison before..."

Ah Pek pursued: "Must be our Taoist deities... Look! I have so many deities with me, the armies and the third prince can even possess me to give me invulnerability... I know you know some Ang Moh magic. Care to let me have a look?"

Frankly, Ah Pek has put me in a very embarrassed situation because if I showed my submissiveness to Ah Pek, I would be compromising the oaths that I took under Master Ishab: there is no god but one God. I just don't want to offend any side.

So I tactfully said: "It is not fair for me to judge Ah Pek as I am only half-cooked! But we can do some experiments..."

Ah Pek is a straightforward old man, he foolhardily challenged me to show an angel in front of him. He thought summoning an angel is as simple as calling the third prince.

After some challenges, I finally said: "Well, Ah Pek, I can try but I am not the boss. I can only pray..."

I looked around and asked for 3 pieces of white candles, some benzoin resins replacing frankincense and some charcoal from Ah Pek. When all set, I started a bonfire knelt down and prayed to God to send an angel for Ah Pek.

After praying for 10 minutes or so nothing happened still. So, I decided to end the prayer session and thanked God.

Ah Pek laughed sarcastically: "Not even a breeze... I think you better learn our Chinese's way of how to be a tangki from me. Ha! Ha! Ha!"

I stood up and shrugged. Since it was already 1am, I decided to leave. Before I was able to step out of Ah Pek's shrine, strong wind started to blow and rain begun to fall as well. Suddenly a gust of strong wind lifted the zinc roof of the shrine to sky high and it landed about 10 meters away. Almost instantly the shrine became soaking wet.

There was nothing we could do but to run to the nearest shop lots to seek shelter.

The rain continued to pour, and I suggested to send Ah Pek back and only to return next morning for damage assessment. He agreed and we returned home.

We returned to the shrine early next morning, Ah Pek's shrine was 80% destroyed. The deity statues were scattered on the floor.

It took local community 3 months to collect donations to repair Ah Pek's shrine.

I visited Ah Pek many times after the new shrine was officiated. Every time Ah Pek would complaint that his patron god, the third prince has not been very responsive since the destruction of his shrine. Many times he even has to pretend that he was possessed by gods because he didn't want to disappoint the visitors.

Once Ah Pek pulled me aside and asked: "Has his problems anything to do with your ritual that day?"

I could only jokingly said: "God? Are you serious? All are just coincidence!"

I have to put a stop here as Ah Pek's problems continued until much later time... Was that the work of God or coincidence. I let you be the judge. After all, no one sees anything unusual that night.
