Invocation Of Mai Kru (Tongkat)

Below is the invocation ritual for your Mai Kru. Of course, if your guru didn’t teach you the proper ritual then please do look for him for your lineage specific ritual.

 

A Mai Kru is normally placed at a sacred location or on your altar. Before using your Mai Kru, you must think of your guru and recollect all the good deeds one has done from past till present.

 

Now, chant the below kata before use:

 

“NAMO TASSA BHAGAWATO ARAHATO SAMMA SAMBUDDHASA” (3X)

 

“OM GUN PINTUNAATANG UPPANANG

DROHMA SAHA PATINAMAH

ATIH KUP ‘PEH SU’ AKAKTHO

PANCHA PAA TOK MANG

TISWAH NAMO BUDDHAYA” (5X)

 

“AHANG MARA VICHAI

YAT SAA YUNG YUT TANYAH

NA BUDDHO BHAGAVATI” (5X)

 

“ITI BARAMITA TIMSA

ITI SAMPANYU MA KATHA

ITI POTI MANUP PAATHO

ITI PISO CA THE NAMO” (3X)

 

“TAD SAH GAE SIRA VIRIYA

THARISANG SANGHA SOTANG BHAWATATIH

MARA SAENA BHANTIHTAH PALA YING SUK”

 

Now the Mai Kru is ready to be used. But remember to put back the Mai Kru at the proper location after used.
