The Lado Putar (Revolving Peppers)

 

This is a type of love magic from the Asahan Malay in Sumatera using pepper as a media. Locally it is called “Lado Putar” or “revolving peppers”.

 

The ritual:

 

1.      Put seven pepper seeds into a bag made of yellow cloth.

2.      Tie the bag with three types of strings: yellow, black and white.

3.      Burn some benzoic incense or the like and fumigate the yellow bag while reciting the below prayer repeatedly.

4.      After you are satisfied, pour out the pepper seeds onto your left palm; turn the pepper seeds with your right palms while reciting the prayer.

5.      Your target will have wet dreams and dreaming about you if your ritual is fruitful.

 

The prayer:

 

“BISMILLAAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHIIM. LADOKU LADO BATURAI, TETANCAP GELAGO DEK BONANG SAMBAU, KASIH ENGKAU TAUTAN HATI, TETANCAP RAGOKU DLM BONAK KOCIK ENGKAU. MARI SI (name) POLUK BIRAHIKU, MARI SI (name) BESEBADAN DEK AKU, TEKONANG ENGKAU SABAN HARI DEK AKU, ELOK RUPOKU SODAP HARUMKU DEK ENGKAU, TEPANCUT ENGKAU SABAN MALAM TEKONANGKAN AKU. MAKBUL DOA PENGAJAR GURUKU, MUSTAJAB KEPADO SI (name) KABUL ALLAH, KABUL MUHAMMAD, KABUL BAGINDI RASULULLAH, BERKAT LAA ILA HAILLALLAH.”
